I’m thinking of getting these Hussla Breezy wheels (20x8.5) for my new Black Wolfy...
They are roughly $400ea. Planning on selling the factory Gloss black Suzuka 20” wheels if any one is interested in getting a set of 4 wheels? PM me if you wre interested. Selling for $1k for all 4 wheels (car delivery in Jan 2019) thanks!

You do realise what you're proposing is to sell an OEM wheel which retails at $2,500 a rim and replace it with something that is $400 a rim?Originally posted by Orpheus2k View PostI’m thinking of getting these Hussla Breezy wheels (20x8.5) for my new Black Wolfy...

I know the OEM wheels are over-priced but in my opinion it's a bit of a downgrade. If you like the design of the wheel at least go with the original version of the wheel (BBS CI-R) and not the knock-off copy. Dutch can probably even assist with a good price

Wow those are nice wheels indeed! How much are the BBS ones?
I didn’t realise the OEM are that pricey [emoji45]

I think you'd be looking $800-900 a rim for the BBS CI-R. Though talk to Dutch who frequents here and the Mk7 wheel thread and he may be able to put you in touch with the Australian distributor.Originally posted by Orpheus2k View PostWow those are nice wheels indeed! How much are the BBS ones?

There's some on ebay shipped from Germany for $873: BBS Wheels CI-R 8.5x20 ET32 5x112 PLATSIL for Audi A4 A5 A6 A6 Allroad A7 A8 A8 | eBay
If it was my car I'd be saving up for something like the BBS rather than tipping $ into a set of reps. Though if you were to purchase the copies I'd hang onto your stock wheels and put them back on the car when selling it.Last edited by tigger73; 04-11-2018, 09:23 PM.

Yikes, $900 a pop is definately over the budget in which case I don’t have “approval” from my financial controller to proceed. I would use the OEM ones instead [emoji53]

Yes quality wheels aren't cheap. Though they do finish the car off.
You could always keep a look out for some second-hand sets, though 20" is going to be a challenge. Alternatively look at some Audi Q5 (20") or SQ5 (21") rims as an alternative.

100% what tigger73 said - don't spend $60k on a car and then kill it with a wheel downgrade.
Everyone knows my opinion on these East Coast rep sellers, some of them won't even take responsibility when they recommend a wheel size that is clearly illegal.
Trying to sell the OEM wheels at a decent price will be impossible (unless you get super lucky) so I would definitely stash them away for resale time. That is what I have done in the past. Trying to track a replacement set down in the future will be a lot harder than say a GTI or R owner because of the volumes.
I'm all for changing up the wheels - the R Line Suzukas aren't exactly an attractive bit of kit (the Sportline's Kapstadt's are much nicer), at least the Wolf's black wheels do hide that polished finish. But yeah - you will need to spend up on BBS CI-R in that style but unfortunately you'll be over $900/corner because of the diameter and width.
The German imports are a sharp headline price but you'll need to consider local taxes on top, and no local service should a wheel turn up marked.
A cheaper but still good looking alternative (and ultimately tough strong wheel) featured earlier in this thread are the BBS SX, they're going to be in a similar glossier finish to match the car and come in under $700/corner.
Euro car, Euro wheels.
