Hello all, I just booked an allspace 132TSI in Sydney. Driveaway at 58K with luxury and Electric tail gate package. I'm looking for aftermarket Digital rear view mirror, ceramic coating and tints. Please share recommendations for the aftermarket fittings. Thanks.
Top spec models already have tint in rear doors and rest of rears Dont need any more. What do you mean with "digital rearview mirror"
Here is a pic from a Rline rear camera showing the factory tint

Mamba Ebike to replace Tiguan
So I bought another Tiguan, this time an all space, sadly I sold my 2022 at the start of the year, I’ve missed it ever since. Should arrive in February!…hopefully.
Have just ordered a 162TSI Elegance with a compliance date of 23/10/23. Is it a MY24? Or can someone shed some light on the change over months.
VW number 8 = 2020 Golf Alltrack Premium/Indium Grey Metallic/Leather seats with extra fruit. (Gone)
VW number 9 = 2023 Tiguan Elegance 162 TSI White with Sound and Vision package
Compliance plate won't give that detail, check the VIN, the 10th digit will be either P for 2023 or R for 2024 MY.
Factory MY change over is normally around July in most models.

Past VWs- T-Roc R-Line, Golf 6, 7 and 7.5, Touareg 7L and 7P, Passat B5.5, Polo MK3, Polo MK4 and GTI

Saw an article recently that said VAG factories were closed for 2 weeks in late August for Model Change over. I thought they start from September. Been known to be wrong though. LOL They usually change from original MY to MY**.5 in June as my Passat was mid June and was the last week before the updated .5
Thanks everyone, particularly Hillbilly for the link. We are getting one of the last MY23 Tiguan Elegance 162TSI models from the VIN information. However it is not missing anything that was taken away during the "Great Semiconductor Shortage"

I know this has probably been covered, but I can’t find it in this thread. My car is now at the frozen stage, so no more changes can be made. Does anyone know how long after that the cars are built?
We officially joined the Tiguan club today. 162TSi Elegance with Sound and Vision package. No sunroof as we never used the one in our Golf Alltrack wagon. A 180k drive back home allowed us both to feel the difference in driving dynamics on country roads. The Alltrack was much more of a sporty drive and you sit down quite a bit lower. The Tiguan is much closer to our towing vehicle, a Pajero VRX. Here is old (Vader) to new (Stormtrooper), which will look great when the window tint goes on. It gets bloody hot in the bush during summer.

I have just picked up my new Tig R, had it a week.
Lapiz with the HK audio, towbar, front tint, mats etc, $74 DA for a May ‘23, Aug compliance car.
Loving the drive, it has no right to handle as well as it does but they done a great job there, and it has heaps of go.
I thought I would miss my 7.5 Golf R more but this is a great replacement wagon instead of the R wagon you can no longer get (Mk 8 )
Hi all
Right now, there is a massive sale with 2 dealers in Sydney. I ordered for the wife a Allspace 2023 plate, brand new, 162kw RLine, no sunroof (After 4 VW's with roof, she hardly ever uses it as it's noisy on roads, not good in summer and i have had mine removed out of my 2023 Arteon twice) for only $49,000 drive away. Got the Platinum Grey colour. You can see them on carsales. Just thought I would share. Doesnt have blind spot and rear cross traffic, but I found a perfect alternative for $300 and so easy to install.
Hey Maple.
They are a pain in the ar$e. Get window tint which cuts heat and UV Rays and doesnt get in the way. Shades for passanger windows dont cut out all the harmful rays and still allow heat to enter. I always use this brand for my tinting and have a person that has always done my cars for over 20 years. Insulatir - Johnson Window Films
If you really want shades, you can go with snap shades, but expect them to move, rattle etc. Hope that helps.
