Yes they have about 20 162 , most rlines , and about 5 not sold , coming before Xmas.

I was given 29th of August as ETA for docking at Melbourne so I'm guessing that my car should be on the same ship.
Haven't confirmed but I'm thinking on the Tomar

So landing on aug 29th would be week 35, so your build start would of be around week 24-25.

Looks good doesn't it, took mine for a bit of squirt up Arthurs Seat and then back through Flinders to home yesterday, have already clocked up 450Km already. Doing a decent drive next week over the Black Spur. Loving the car, can feel the engine loosening up already, it's much more willing to get moving now, but still taking it easy

It's hard to drive it easy that's for sure, I'm a Vol in the CFA and driving to the station like a nanna when the pager goes off is difficult hahaha. I'm loving the torque, My BRZ's torque band always annoyed me beaucase its so high in the rev range.

So I have been in hunkered down in full "Wait Mode" for a while now, but today I called the Stealer for an update on my Nadcon as he hadnt responded to an email earlier in the week requesting a new pic as the car was supposed to start being built tomorrow.....

He confirmed that it had once again slipped, so thats now ETA of ship of originally mid August, then mid October, and now mid November!!!

I'm at breaking point....I might just go and buy a used Audi SQ5 instead....someone please talk me out of it

Thanks for all the sensible responses, sanity has prevailed! Plus the wife surprised me by not wanting the Audi, even though prior to ordering the Tig the SQ5 was her dream car!

Well so Day 1 - just picked up my fully loaded black Tiggy and drove it home. Roughly 36km of driving.

To be honest he great reveal was anti climatic as I have seen the car so many times in pics and in reality.

What really got me was actually seeing my personalised number plate on the car AND sitting in the driver seat with the awesome lighting, instruments and the ease of using everything around the driver... it was only then that I got excited about the Tiggy.

The drive home was a nervous one at night and learning the dimensions of it..

Easy connection of Apple phone and works a treat. The whole car feels high end. The DSG was smooth and in traffic felt easy especially with auto hold..

Impressed with the ride considering the tyres. The steering response is great. And you can tell there is some power waiting to be unyielded.

A very neat surprise was pulling into the driveway and I get a text from wifey stating that I should be quiet getting into the house with our little one trying to sleep.. The iPhone connected to the car picked up I received the message and asked me if I wanted to respond so I told it my message and sent it off all over voice and connected to the car. Pretty sweet !!

The lighting in the cabin.. just classy.

The beeping as we have a tight driveway has it beeping like crazy. Gotta get use to that and trust my driving a bit more.

Will provide further updates as I get more km on...

All those waiting. Don't lose faith. It's really an awesome car for the price point.
