I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

Mine was ordered just on a week ago and after being told it's being built, which turned out to be incorrect once I received a Nadcon screenshot. The upshot, I don't have a build date yet. Was advised late July delivery when ordering so not sure now. Just have to wait for more info. Give the sales guy a call.

So after you've placed your order, what information can the dealer give you?

When can you ask for the Nadcon screenshot? I assume you can ask for a VIN as soon as the car has been built?

What information does the Nadcon screenshot and the VIN number provide?

My car is ready for pickup now, a fully stacked 162. No towbar though, VW Aus have slapped a ban on towbar fitment until they sort out a software bug with the trailer lights. Anyone else encountered this ?

How's it going troops? First post in here and its a pleasure to confirm I pulled the trigger last Saturday, on my first VW since my MK4 Golf GTI turbo, way back in 1998. I have ordered a white Tiguan 162 TSI Highline with R-Line and DAP. The local dealer in Perth has a similar car with sun roof already on order and are swapping it for a non roof version for me. No commitment on dates, but they estimate mid July. I have asked for the NADCON printout and VIN, as soon as its known, so I can see a more accurate picture.

The comments and feedback on here sure played a part in my decision, but being stood on front of one in the flesh, made it a pretty easy decision. So do I start counting the days down yet??

Welcome to he club I've been counting down the days since September! Nice choice too, pretty much the same as mine, just without sunroof.

Tortugas left on 8 Mar and due in Port Kembla on 14 Apr. Expect delivery late April I guess.

It seems the production must be catching up. We ordered just before Xmas, were initially told July delivery, then late May, but now it seems it's come forward another month. For us, about four months from order to pickup.
