Let's not forget what we are all driving here i.e. An SUV, albeit one of the fastest.
Eco mode is good for the coasting feature and if you want "performance" then a quick pull down of the gear stick will do the trick. I find accelerater to sensitive in sports mode for normal driving. Anyone else?

The systems don’t save settings for quite a few options. I prefer the screen to turn off after 10 seconds however I need to tick this setting every time I run the car. It’s very much a first world issue and barely registers as a frustration however it would be nice to be able to customize settings and have them remain.
Otherwise I’ve put 450km on mine now, have put it on sport mode a few times, I definitely prefer the mapping on the accelerator pedal in sports, I find in regular drive the pedal needs to be depressed a long way before the engine wakes up which is fine if pottering around, however the S mode is definitely a lot nicer in Sydney traffic..
Can you have the sports mode accelerator pedal mapping but with the regular D shifting so it doesn’t hold the gears so long?
Have taken it to about 4000rpm at probably 80% throttle, is good! Told myself I’d let it cover 1000km before I give it a hiding though

I’ve also started driving in M around town. It’s a very smooth experience with the 162TSI and I think the DSG is at its best when I’m selecting gears. Personal opinion.Tiguan Highline 162TSI | Indium Grey | DAP | MY18

Hi. I'm getting 162TSI Highline with R-Line Indium Grey color and was wondering what color of number plate would look better - black on white or white on black? Would be awesome if someone can share photos.
My order includes NSW Premium plates but thinking to get Euro plates - front mini size and back regular size. But the front factory plate holder seems larger than the mini size plate. Should I ask the dealer not to drill on the front bumper and just attach it so that I can change it later? Any photo with front/back euro plate would be great. Thanks in advance.

Anyone else installed full/mini size euro plate to the front? Please share your experience how it was attached. Thanks.

I collected my new 140TDI R-line from the dealer today. It's wonderful.
I need to put a towbar on it. Does anyone know whether I can fit an after-market, or must I get a genuine VW one (at twice the cost)? I've been told that the newer diesels with the "ad blu" must only have the genuine article, but would like to try to verify that. Thanks.
