Well I have had the Khumo's on for a couple of days, no hard driving yet but I have to say, for me, they ride much better than the Pirelli Scorpion Verde's. The Verde's are definitely much firmer and probably the better "performance" tyre when driving hard. The Khumo's appear to be more compliant touring type of tyre. I have to say I am very happy with the Khumo's so far and will post any updates should my views change over time.
I reside in Oxley, Brisbane - so if anyone wants to go for a drive in my 2018 Tiguan Wolfie to see what the Khumo tyres are like - just message me.

How do you find the tyre road noise? Any different from the Pirelli Scorpion Verde?
The only issue I have at the moment is that have three Michelin Latitude Sports 3 tyres sitting in my garage with only 2k on them that nobody wants - oh well, can't win all the time
For anyone interested, I bought the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance (v1) in mid-2022 to replace the original Conti SportContact (they lasted 65k kms) after reviewing quite a few articles/vids. Have done 47k kms and have been very happy. Its not a performance tyre so not as 'sporty' as the Contis (I don't drive hard anyway) but they're very good in the wet, ride quietly & comfortably with decent feedback and good value for money (via Tyresales.com.au). Would recommend and would purchase again.
2017 VW Tiguan Mk II - 162tsi Highline - 118,000 km
I went to have the ContiSports rotated on the Tiguan at it's latest service and the factory front tires are already shot - 1mm & 2mm after only 27K kms!
Not sure if the wheel alignment is out, or I just drive them hard (rears are 4mm each).
I run Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on my Arteon (and our previous Passats), but probably not for the Tiguan...
Thinking of trying the Pirelli Verdes, though it sounds like they're noisier and less comfy.. any idea how these would compare to the Pilot Sports?

Just be mindful with the Pirelli Scorpion Verde's that some of the ones they sell are "all season" tyres which really are not suited for the vast majority of Australia (they are designed to handle light ice and snow and cold climates). In Australia we need what is referred to in the tyre world as "Summer tyres" due to our climate.
The Michelins and Contisports you have are a high performance tyre. Nice and quiet and good grip but the tradeoff is relatively short life (soft rubber). You might be better off moving to a slightly less performance oriented tyre which will give a longer life. I have these Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 SUV tyres on my Audi SQ5 and am very happy with them. Currently on a 'Buy 4 and only pay for 3' deal at Jax Tyres which makes them a great buy @ $317.50 per tyre fitted and balanced. Add another $80 or so for a wheel alignment.

The all season version will have “A/S” or “All Season” written on the sidewall. But the easiest way to tell is to look at the tread pattern. The tread pattern is very obvious.
Pic below shows the All Seasons and you can see the writing on the sidewall of the tyre.
And this is the normal “Summer” version of the Verde tyre. This is the tyre you want for Australian climate.

Does that mean the Kumho HP71 EV are 'Summer' tyres based on the tread pattern?
Any tyre with "EV" in the description is designed for Electric Vehicles, so you don't want those. And although it doesn't specifically say all season on the tyre, the tread pattern design and this website description suggest that it is indeed an all season tyre: Kumho Tyres CRUGEN HP71 EV | Tyrepower O'Connor
Whats your budget per tyre and whats your tyre size. If you give me this info id be happy to suggest some good options for you.
