Yeah that's the parts cost and you'll still be up for labour on top to install. From memory it's about $2k installed.

Interesting that it's the same part number. I guess that's dealer tax for you. No way I'd pay $5k for the display. Would certainly be looking at other options before handing over those sorts of $ for a repair.

Even if its out of warranty, in years 6 & 7 you would be covered under the ACL due to the natures the part should last 10+ years
