Switching On/Off Dynamic Light Assist

Hi guys, tried searching the forums and couldn't find anything related to turning on/off DLA. I have it fitted to the Allspace as standard and comes up with Main Beam and the letter A in the middle (white).

Easy enough to activate but how turn off and revert back to regular dimmed beams without first flashing everyone with high beams? The Owners Manual suggests pulling back on the left stick to turn off, but this is not before activating main beams (high beaming everyone for a split second) - there must be a better way.

You can also ride the auto switch (from Auto to dimmed beams) without interrupting any light but just seeing if there's another way.

hmm, I wonder then if it's possible to default to auto on? I think it needs to be initiated every time the car is started.

If its in the pushed right away position it should come on every time the lights come on as its a physical switch.

I dont go out at night much so have only used it a couple of times and I didnt have to do anything that I remember
