Making a separate post just for this, hoping someone can help me with some shortcuts.
Before removing the EGR valve to clean or replace, seems like a good idea to first check for wiring or earth faults?

Bora difficulty shifting
I have a 2001 bora 4motion manual trans, and have issues with shifting. At higher rpms (4000-5000 rpm), I have gear lockouts where it is just unable to go into the next gear (shifting up). Dsg manual mode
First silly question, is it ok to use the paddles in the 7.5 when the gear stick is still in the auto position.
And second question, when I do this the on dash gears correctly show M2, M3 etc however the DSG does not automatically change up to a higher M gear unless high revs are achieved.... -
2009 1600 9N3 Tappet Ticking
We have a 2009 9N3 with the 1600 petrol engine and 6 speed DSG gearbox.
The engine has an intermittent ticking sound in the top of the engine that sounds like a loose tappet.
The sound is not always there but is there most of the time.

Evening everyone.
