MY18.5 or MY19 - Difference ? Should I Wait ?

Allspace itself. Brochures are dated June 18 MY18. I’m guessing anything built say Sept onwards will be an MY19. Would have to be the exact same specs surely.

The MY 19 tiguan has the same spec as the MY 18 allspace.

In light of no official pics of the Wolfsburg I thought I'd have a crack at mocking up some photos. I'm definitely tempted to pull the trigger and order one of these when they become available.

Nice work! Black Suzuka is badass! I was told that $5-6k will be ORC on top of the $55,490 RRP. My dealer is prettey sure it won’t go above $61k.. well who knows.

Just heard back from one of my local dealers - he confirmed 500 units allocated to Australia (2x per dealer)

Quoted $60,400 driveaway + $2000 extra for the panoramic sunroof. No extra cost for pearl/metallic paint.

Yep, those were the exact info I got from 2 dealers here in SE Melbourne. Tempting indeed when you know you’re also getting Dynaudio speakers, head-up display + drivers assist extras and R-line pack which you’re adding in the Highline model anyway. If you do the math, this actually adds up cheaper than a fully optioned MY19 Highline. Not to mention a more unique look with ofcourse a Wolfsburg badging.

No official quote from dealer at the moment but the price we looked at was based on media announcements. More or less dealer price will be the same when they release.

Wow. Here I am getting fleet quotes for an MY18.5 at the same price, ridiculous! Much better value in the Wolfsburg unless we see optioned MY19’s sub $60k!

Ordered a white wolf. Dealer only had online info we can all see. They took my dep and fixed up the contract to reflect a wolf in pearlecence as the appropriate fields didn't show in the online form fields. The said they had already sold 2 and there was little given in the negotiations i.e. take it or leave it as they would have no trouble moving them and stock would be very limited. I am not confident that I have actually secured one until I get a VIN. Dealer not actually sure of numbers avail or full driveway official price. I was slugged $700 for paint regardless of which colour I chose although the advised that they would remove it if not applicable but I think that will somehow evaporate. I suggested that there must be a standard colour at the listed price but....$61k with a few extras but no pano. Good trade in price with opt to sell pvt. Here's hoping.

There shouldn’t be an extra with any of the colours as metalic/pearl is standard with the Wolfsburgs. I’m sure the $700 will “evaporate “ And yes, the dealers only have a power point document (with same info online) and no official pictures. They actually showed me the screen and it does say how limited they are..

I believe Wolfsburg will be the first and only (for now) Tiguan model to get the head-up display in Australia. MY19 Highline won’t have it.

Ordered my Wolfsburg in Grey today, added sunroof and VW factory extended Warranty.
I got a good deal, There is a lot of talk there is only 500. The truth is there is only 500 in the first batch delivered in 2018. There will be more shipped in 2019.
