I'm really struggling to download the file successfully - The server keeps dropping the connection and when I eventually get a full (single file) download, I get errors unzipping with 7zip... Perhaps the new release is drawing a lot of download traffic on the site.
If I use the DiscoverCare updater tool if only downloads the P65 version...

Has anyone successfully download and unpacked the P68 version yet?

I’m in the same boat as you. I have downloaded the file twice now, and cannot get it to extract due to some sort of error in the files relating to India. Frustrating!

Hi All,

I ran the Udater and like othwrs identified a new update and downloaded it to a 32Gb SDXC card. (All 27Gb) I then placed it in the SD1 slot of my 2017 series 2 Tiguan and Updated my maps, etc.

Success!

Prior to updating to this map, I previously updated in July 2017. That Update was a later map version than the maps that came with the car. My July 2017 map version was V03959801EC0 062 ROW 2017 Australia 2017.

The latest update installed today is version V03959801ED0 065 ROW 2017/2018 Australia.

Could it be the previous post citing P68 map version is for the Discover Media and not Discover Pro?

What I do know is 065 version is listed as 2017/2018 and my previous version was 2017 only. So it is my conclusion that the 065 version is the latest for the Series 2 Tiguan in Australia using a Discovery Pro head unit.

Same here, multiple data errors in the download. Looking at the file creation dates and sizes it seems to be the same map data as the previous one so not really an update

I can tell you that P68_N60S5MIBH3_ROW_NT.7z which is the prior download definitely had newer maps than P65 with only a 2018 date. This P68_N60S5MIBH3_ROW_NT_v2.7z version seems to be a faulty repack of that file

However on the German site there is a version dated 12-12-2017 with a different file name.

Looks like a newer file but not sure about compatibility.

Tried that already. The map will work, but if you have TMC activated the it breaks the TMC functionality as TMC relies on some files in the map to work properly.

Stay with 0821 on Navigation.com if you want TMC to work. I couldn’t tell the difference between the two map versions. DiscoverCare will also not show the map available on the German site.

Yeah, your right. If it works leave it alone , not much has changed in Adelaide since May 2017 I guess.

Means the file is corrupt. Download the file again.

Over in Golf 7, people are reporting that the latest maps (v2) now work without CRC errors.
