Pretty good guess, close but still a few kw low ......

Anyway you get the idea .... best stg 1 gen 2 EA888 result ever.....

Full results in due course to be released by APR.

At this stage we just don't know what to expect from stg 2 ..... lots more, or just a bit?

I'll have a guess at 'just a bit'... But holding that peak power to 6000RPM instead of tapering off at 4500RPM.

Well I can now confirm that with a perfect change 2nd to 3rd an easy mid 6s 0-100 is possible in a stg1 TSI. With a more leisurely 2nd to 3rd (best to protect the box) consistent low 7s are achievable (all Racelogic confirmed) ...... pretty quick for a close to 2 ton dual cab ute

I've heard it's pretty good. RWD, 6 speed. Probably throw in some redline gear oil and get that 0-100 time under 7 seconds.

That would be an estimate because the use a wheel or hub dyno, not an engine dyno.

Have a really good look at the graph & the "report" underneath. It's like a study in confusion when you try & work out what fuel, rpm, etc they are talking about.

As a simple "Will this vehicle go better?" exercise... Hell Yeah!

Racelogic performance box is a GPS based car performance measuring unit. It is quite accurate and most magazines and car reviewers use it to measure vehicle performance.

Yes, since APR Aus uses a hub dyno, its a bit confusing working it all out as nobody knows for sure what the drivetrain losses are ..... 263HP at the crank probably a bit low .... as the 240HP at the wheels = 180kw at the wheels ......

195kw at the hubs was seen before pulling a bit of timing out (to better protect the engine) to land on ~190kw at the hubs. In excess of 430NM at the hubs as well!!

In case anybody was wondering, this is what a Stg1 200+kw 500NM Amarok looks like .....

Fitted an open pod filter just for kicks yesterday morning and boy does it whistle and growl now ....... Waste gate sound is awesome !

Probably not going to keep it on but it sure is entertaining, lol
