  • Transporter's Amarok

    Picked up a month ago and can't wait moding it. So far only the mod done was by the dealer, attaching the number plate.

    The ARB Ascent canopy goes on on Wednesday, then I'm going to install the ARB drawers, ARB Twin compressor with the ARB tank. The new 19* rims will get new rubbers fitted.

        Yes, Sportline. I couldn’t decide on colour, so went with the white.

          I used these on the back instead of drilling holes in my personalised plates

            Double sided tape works a treat too.

                looks tidy, will be good with all that ARB gear on too. I hope the dealer could see ok to screw the plate on, looks like he has an eye missing?

                  Haha, yes, I accept everyone’s right to privacy.

                  I’m usually anxious when it comes to others drilling into any part of my vehicle, including my work van.

                  However Sam from Solitaire has my blessings use the drill, since this bumper will come off when I fit (myself) either of the metal bars or ARB B.Bar. Sam had double sided tape ready as well.

                  So, if you like me, but prefer to keep your factory plastic bumper, don’t be afraid to ask the dealer to use the tape instead of the screws. Mind you, he offered me to diy but he new quickly exact spot where the number plates needed to be fitted. So, I handed back the drill to him and snapped the photo.

                  I must say that whole my buying experience at Solitaire was amazing, they went a long way to accomodate my needs and were very helpful during whole process including countless quotes to help me to get exactly what I wanted.
                  I wouldn’t buy anywhere else.

                    Very happy with the ARB Ascent canopy. It’s well made no blemishes so far.

                          Will you be installing a catch can on this vehicle Transporter? I just installed a https://www.flashlube.com/en/product...h-can-pro.html on my Audi SQ5 last night but had to make my own mounting bracket and connections etc as nobody seems to make a "kit" for the V6 bi-turbo TDI engine in the SQ5.

                            Highly recommend the Net4x4 kit for the V6 rok. Everything fits perfectly. There is also a diesel filter combination kit that goes with it.

                            This is what was collected after the first 7500km;

                              Yes, it’s on a very long list of things planned for it.
                              I’ll be choosing between Man Provent200, Flashlube and Ryco, I’ve all 3 of them on my bench. The Ryco looks well made and comes in the kit or just the catch can. The Flashlube is made in Germany and I’ve bought it while ago for our Tiguan, since it’s more compact than the other 2. They’re all similarly priced.

                              I always like to make my own bracket.
