Spotted one of these yesterday morning on Manchester Rd in Mooroolbark, I love that body kit. The whole car looks absolutely mint!
Jealous!

I think it will settle over time and look even better. I don't want to change anything as it handles so well, corner flat and very supple over bumps etc.. reminds me of a Porsche.

Personally looking forward to it being the first car that I won't need to touch the suspension one bit. Everything/everyone so far suggests it's got the perfect balance between sportiness/feedback and comfort. I don't have anything against suspension/chassis upgrades and I've done a fair share of them on my cars and enjoyed it for the most part. It's just that although you certainly improve handling, grip, road feel etc. you can never set the balance the same way a manufacturer does and on a car that's used as a daily it gets tiring over time. If what I've been reading is correct the Clubsport should feel firmer and more direct than the rest of the Golfs, but not uncomfortable and for me that will be a big win.

It handles perfectly, the only reason you would lower it would be for aesthetics, but as VW has spent so much time on the suspension setup it may not be as good as it is now.

Ever since I put my order in I've been scouring YouTube for videos of Red CS's (as this is what I've ordered) I think this is my favourite so far. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLB5xwtVDl0

Agreed this is another good vid, there are a few now but yet to see a head to head vs the R. Even though it appears to be better over all.
The red does grow on me but I think I'd still go for white.

Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing that head to head. The Red was the first I saw and fell in love with it straight away, besides I had a white GT Forester years ago and it was an accident magnet, seven in the ten years I owned it, not one of them my fault.
Haven't seen a red in person yet TBH. But from what I've seen its nice. I've had white polo and current white Gti. Before that was yellow and red. I could go back to red but it tends to fade bad over time. Plus I'm a sucker for the combo red/white/black.
When's yours arrive?

Yeah I was a bit worried about fading, I've been looking at Opti-coat to try and alleviate the issue, but think I'll just have to pay more attention polish/wax the paintwork. Spoke to the dealer today and it has arrived but I asked for a delayed mid September hand over so I could raise some additional capital to payout my existing lease early so as to not be paying two leases at once.
