				If you are anal you could measure your oil before and after driving oil at 100 degrees plus and get an idea about how cruel you are being to oil with short cold trips
			
		
	You'll find that during a short trip the oil will struggle to get to 100 degrees, the damage is done on the way up to 100 degrees. The water issue would then be secondary to that. The primary issue would be the lack of viscosity in the oil at those low temps.
