I can't work out why people are concerned about TJA.

I mean you're not wrong, people should enjoy the car - but I have to say I am not sure what you'll enjoy in (a) a traffic jam and/or (b) under 60km/h.

And yeah truth be told it really isn't that hard to drive in traffic jams, but idk something about being in the future and 'all that' ahahaha! It's really cool, and it remains to be seen where it'll be a gimmick or not. I have certainly been 'wowed' with it, after experiencing it in an Audi A4 estate.

I just took delivery last Friday for a gti with DAP. My vin is in the sequence of WVWZZZAUZJ.... and built may 17. No traffic jam assist unfortunately. Do have ALG and lane assist only above 60km/h.

That might have change since Feb though. This is the response I got from VWA from their Facebook page:

The VW website is advertising TJA as a feature of the upcoming Arteon but it's not mentioned for any other model even though it was talked about in articles like the one linked by frostywinter.

I have asked the exact same question. Didn't get any response from them there after. Really do hope it is just a software update down the track. The owner's manual indicate that TJA needs ACC & Lane assist (With ALG checked). So far lane assist just stops running for speeds below 60.

Yeah its easy mate when active cruise is not on hit the button that turns it off and the section that shows set speed and lane assist will turn to total kilometres driven since new

Mk7.5 Golf - News and Discussion Thread

Hey guys, a quick question for those with DAP on 7.5. Do blind spot Monitoring and rear traffic alert stay when you start the car after turning ignition off? For me, those two options get reset after I leave the ignition off for sometime (not if I start immediately after turning off ignition). I wasn't sure if it's something to do with personalisation and hence tried with personalisation off. But that didn't help either. Any thoughts on how I can save the settings for those two options?

Exactly! Who would have thought that autopark feature could be used as a decoy!!!
