So the launch date for the performance range will be pushed back to oct-nov? Dats when the arteon is supposed to be released isn't it?

He just told me golf gti and r, the performance is the gti right? So l would include that too.

That's interesting. Will check with my dealer tmr. Was told that last week that they will have a demo gti and r in sometime July for test drives. Wasn't notify (at least for now) that there was any delay for an end of August delivery. Fingers crossed. Toes too.😶

Was looking at the video review of the new golf R-Line on caradvice.com.au. It looks like the R-Line has only one LED DRL/indicator on each side unlike the UK model which has two. Did anyone notice that at dealerships? I visited a dealership that had an R Line on display a few weeks ago but don't recollect how the DRLs looked . Hope the GTI has two on each side!

Fun? Sadistic tards haha. Plus side, that "second" drl did come alight at night though (from configurator & also a photo of a dealer demo) Asked my dealer and VWA about the if there is a change in launch dates for the performance range, will see what they say.

I also noticed earlier this week that the GTI doesn't get rear privacy glass (specifications on car review sites). Only Performance Edition and R get it. I think this is the case with MK7 GTI as well.

Its delivery date car lands on the 17th july but in reality who knows will not believe it now until it's in my hands

Hmmm... so is it a delay in logistics? Or dealer's mistake? I have got a hit on wwglobal (I know, get a life right?) for my car and it is delayed close 2 weeks for arrival date.

Blaming salesman atm for misinformation but had vw ring me last month saying car had landed so yeah a cock up whichever way you look at it
Got my hopes up as originally the date was early August so thought whoo hoo a month early... now having moved my old car onto my daughter as she needs it for her new job am using a mate's 25 year old camry for the next month hoping it does not **** itself lol
Hope there are no more delays!

One can get me a car landed here in October or with sunroof in November.

I paid my deposit late april as well but insisted that i needed a early august delivery and the dealership have done so(changing one of their demo models for me to have instead of them) so the shipping dealer has confirmed 17th for landing so 2 to 3 weeks from there /fingers crossed
i would be mad at your dealer 2 they love to take your money
i want the dynamic indicator pack they dont have exact price but was quoted around 2k! sigh dealers and ripoffs like cats and cream

it is a lot thinking about it...
but the longer the car takes the more crap i buy for it damn ebay just got some carbon fibre paddle extensions and a red carbon fibre key protector /sigh will be broke by the time it arrives
