it's the same lapiz blue, the blue shades look different due to various lighting

Atlantic blue is the non R type colour

Question for me I have a mk6 R only 70k kms now do I but a 7.5 or wait for the 8? Do we have any idea what the differences will be at this stage

You'd be up for quite a wait, Paul. With no official release date, and at the rate VW are yanking equipment from the "R", you'll be left with some seats, steering wheel and AM Radio, arriving some time in 2020.

Curious about the seats. Is that alcantera trim on the centre of the seats with leather surround, and with white piping clearly? Is that the only seat option now available for the R? I prefer the full leather black personally (although I am sure many will like the two tone appearance)

just came back from bayford vow, and the guy showed me yes.
As I was wanting the Turmeric Colour in an R.
The UK does it. But Australia won't get it

I'm wondering about the seat colouring as well. I'm a fan of the black appearance in my highline - don't really want to go down the two-tone route.

Think I'll be getting blue this time round
Both my GTIs where carbon steel, and I was going to go white. But I'll stick with blue, the gold looks nice as well though.

I've been told Feb. Others seem to be getting told Oct / Nov. I'm going to ring around some other dealers tomorrow. Don't think I can wait until Feb.
