I was referring to adding them to my MK7 GTI & hoping dealers would be able to order them in & install them.

I was also under the impression the MK7.5 had them as standard?! Only Euro region is it?

Don't think so. I tried to get my dealer to get one for my gti but he said it won't be compatible. Sad....

Is it true the new 7.5 Golf R (non-Wolfsburg) can't be optioned with the dynaudio stereo? How good/bad is the standard stereo?

Hey Toggle ... (Or can I call you "Toggs" ?)..There's a bit of debate here. My dealer said she can't see it in the options list under the DA pack for the .5. But it was pointed out that it's available on every model from the poverty pack up, so it just makes no sense whatsoever that VW would exclude it completely from their top dog. It just has to be in the bigger screen "Nav" pack. Despite the recent car mag article to the contrary. Maybe someone could hassle their dealer ? I'd feel like a desperate going back to mine again.

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with discounting on a pre-order mk7.5, I went into a dealer today with the intention to place an order for an Indium Grey Golf R DSG hatch with black Pretoria wheels if the pricing was reasonable, but was told no discounting on mk7.5, I will of course try several more dealerships and understand discounting may be kept to a minimum with a new model, but having purchased a couple of new cars previously have always managed to at very least not pay "on-road costs" , so a mk7.5 R dsg @ 55,490+ORC, with the cost of the wheels aside as I haven't been given a reliable quote on them yet ( UK VW site says 900 pound option) would it be in unreasonable to think that I could manage to get one for 56-57K D/away ?

Dec 2017 .. Golf R 7.5 DSG
2007 (40yrs) .. Mazda 2 (I know, I know. .. what ??)
1997 (30yrs) .. Wrx .. modified up to but not forged pistons.
1987 (20 yrs old) .. Twin Cam Corolla .. couldn't afford to insure the 323Turbo.

Hmmm wrx for a Mazda2?!🤔🤔🤔
It is a preorder though, for the performance range at least.
I was quoted probably a sept due for a dsg gti 5 dr. Not too good in the waiting game 😩

I'm getting the same story. I've been met with an arrogant response. The lowest for a standard R with sunroof 61700 no one else will entertain to better. For a Wolfsburg I offered 63 and they laughed, told them well it's 2k more than the standard and they responded it's about 5... I told them we must be using a different calculator.

Since then my local Audi dealership seem desperate to give me a new S3 at R prices.
