Why I went matt - just wanted them like that, didn't like gloss black.
agree some of the body kit is gloss but that is front and back, the Side view has no gloss parts only carbon mirror so doesn't look out of place or not matching
sure will post some pics probably tomorrow night haven't had time to take many ☹️.
I'm pretty happy with the outcome, and the car as a whole.

You haven't got the gloss black strip along the bottom of the body under the doors ? My 7.5 R wagon has it.

Probably haven't paid that much attention as its only 2 days old.

Just curious why you went matte v gloss? Can you post some pics..

I'm leaving my Prets stock but looking for a second set of wheels and debating matt v gloss options - given a lot of the black plastic is fairly gloss on the 7.5.

I'm keener on matte myself, but interested in opinions.

PS: if anyone is interested in a 'group' buy of some premium wheels (OZ, BBS, HRE or ATS) then please let me know.

I want to paint mine gloss black, but deciding whether to change wheels altogether! Tried spare OZ Racing Superleggera III's on but not sure about them maybe they need a black centre but they are too aged for the MK7 i think.

Thanks to Exoticars helping getCTS Intake on, Eibach Springs in. Few more things to go.. getting there slowly. XPEL PPF'd the full front end, still haven't bothered to get around to applying a coating for now (gyeon quartz it'll be).

Guys I am changing my rails to black currently bought a second hand pair from gregzole on here (thanks!) they are being stripped and repainted matte which means I will have the original rails to sell for someone to paint black... any interest? Reason I am doing this is less down time with car .. it takes a day to do headlining drop so with painted rails ready to go it’s a quicker process ... new rails from vw are 600 each so 1200 pair and VW charge 450 to install.. I am going to them cause of air bags sun roof error codes etc.. also have some team dynamics 19’s I am selling been resprayed black ... pic on car attached ...

Click on the vessel schedules and you can check out the shifts for unloading and loading.
