Hi Everyone,

Think I'm ready to pull the trigger and place an order for a Wolfsburg hatch this weekend (if they're still accepting orders) and wanted to find out what prices people were getting from their dealer?

When I bought my wagon the dealers weren't budging from MSRP. I did manage to get $400 off their (rather exorbitant) dealer delivery fee, and a full tank of fuel, but that was it.

I just looked on carsales.com.au and there were only 2 hatches listed, so if you want one you might need to get cracking. There were 18 wagons, so a bit more to choose from there.

i got a free boot mat . no budging on price nor dealer deliver fee which was more than mercedes charge. oh, i nearly forgot the two ‘free’ key rings.

Most deals have been at close to retail, and there are certainly some smart arse dealers out there being even more arrogant and obnoxious than usual.

However there are discounts out there, and quite substantial ones at that. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Have you heard from the dealer? When are you getting the delivery? I hope I get it before 22nd so I can enjoy it during the break!

Estimated to arrive at Dealer on 22nd, but maybe earlier...

Got the ‘Built’ update on the VWA website this morning! I guess that equates to a mid feb delivery depending on ship timings.

In the meantime, responding to one of the posts above, there is a blue wolfie hatch no roof at bill buckle last weekend! Photos below.

Indeed. I’m actually a fan of a darker rim and noticed a fair few having been going the blaaaack look after picking it up (a la 7R Wolfsburg).

Noticed this car below from I’m guessing VW Sydney, someone must have bought it, painted it gun metal grey and then returned it? Love how it looks, may need to go by and have a look IRL and note it for future use!

Whats the URL to the website? I have an email from August but the link is a 404 for me, is that what you're using?

We all get a specific URL unfortunately. And yes, it’s the link from the August email. Man I would be ballistic at that type of broad answer, probably worth poking the stealer again!

Dealership is now saying "late March" almost a years wait!
Tried hitting up VW oz about the link, they seem to think its a per-dealer thing and have no real clue about it.

This Wolf belongs to one of the managers at Sydney VW, the wheels are painted the same colour code as the wheels on the new VW Arteon
