If it is on a ship (or here in Oz) you should be able to track it's shipping status by putting your VIN in the Cargo Id field of this WWL site:

If they can't/won't give you a VIN then either they are lying to you about it being built and on a boat, or they are incompetent.

It is on the morning crystal which based off the site was due in today. So here’s hoping we get our cars within the next 2-3 weeks

Yeah I haven’t seen any hatches at a dealer or on Carsales yet. And haven’t seen a wagon with sunroof yet either.

My dealer rang today to say that the boat carrying my Wolfsburg is docking today and that I should have it in a couple of weeks
I'll get my Mk 7 on carsales tonight.

We just arrived home after collecting our White Golf R Wolfsburg wagon from Doncaster.
Absolutely love it so far and it seems to be everything my R36 wagon was and more.
800 km so far, very easy to travel long distances in and much better fuel economy of course.

Almost run in already then That makes (at least) two white Wolfsburg wagons in the Canberra area now, welcome to the club

I'm loving the versatility of mine - it's a quiet, comfortable cruiser when I want to take it easy, but fairly "lifts her skirts" when I want a bit of acceleration/cornering, and lots of room for dogs or other stuff all the time. A bonus is that unless you really know what to look for it appears to be just another standard medium sized white family wagon (so very little unwanted attention from anyone, either police or yobbos wanting a drag).

Well, after waiting for over 40 minutes at my local VW dealer I still don't know what the part # is.
It seems that when they look it up on their computer system it simply doesn't show any Wolfsburg badge at all.
And yes, my car does have one, and this is the dealer that sold it to me 18 days ago.
They have told me that they will ask "VW assistance" (whatever that is) for help & advice, and get back to me.
I'll let you know whatever and whenever they get back to me.

I would be quite annoyed if my Wolfsburg badge got stolen, and if VW c/wouldn't sell me a replacement badge then I would be pointing out to them rather firmly that in Australia manufacturers and importers are required by law (ACCC) to provide spare parts for a reasonable time.

We shall see what happens.....

Not yet, but the VW parts person from my dealer did send an email to tell me she was waiting on a response from VW Oz.
