Agreed. I couldn’t tell if the black was going to blend in, or stand out. It stands out quite badly for me. Should’ve went for the red or the silver ones!
The dyna blinker sort of works during the day time. I haven’t had the time to see it during the day today.
There’s only one thing I’d like to call out for fitting in a smoked black indicator, though.
You will not be able to see the indicator flashing from the inside of the car. (The little gap beside the mirror.)
You can see it at night, but not during the day time..
And the shade of red is so attractive. I can’t stop looking at it when I park it!
Kachingg, I got the Dyna Blinkers from Supanova. I think they’re based in VIC. They’re good fun. Too bad they don’t have clear ones..
I've seen clear and semi smoked Dynablinks appear on Aliexpress from time to time. They both can be seen from the interior. Thinking about trying a pair out.
The smoked one are a bit dark. Although in direct sunlight they are more visible than the clear.

Agreed. But I think it looks like it stands out better than the clear linkers is because of the contrast?
I'm no genius in terms of colours though. Hehe
Kachingg, I managed to calculate my consumption.
It's about 7.65L. Had a bit of a heavy right foot every now and then.
Problem with where I'm at is I'm always under city start/stop conditions.
Done another change.
I wasn't confident in changing the globes for the fog lights, and got an understanding after reading the owner's manual. I realised I was doing it the wrong way.
I was trying to get the bulb out before disconnecting the cable.
I thought that was the order, but the design for the fog lamp is you have to remove the connector first, then you're able to unscrew the globe. Genius!
I'm not sure if my eyes are spoilt, but I think halogen's more effective?
The LEDs doesn't seem to cut it as well as the halogen, but then again, I think this is clouded by the LED headlights of the Alltrack so you don't see the difference when everything's "cool white". Having the halogens on makes it look like a huge difference as there's an obvious contrast.
Take note that you'll get error messages once you switch on the fog lights. (FYI - Kachingg)
It'll complain to check both left and right fog lights.
However, the lights will be functional. Just that you'll see an error all the time on the dash whenever you switch on the fog lamps every time you switch on the engine.
You need OBDEleven/VCDS handy.

Damn sorry to hear ...
Did the P Plater own up to being on the phone or was he caught on dash cam ? What a tool ...
I think it will easily be over $5k, especially if any of the sensors are damaged and need replacing/recalibrating. Then of course there's your pompnazzi treatment as well...

Thanks guys
Yeah i think 5k or so its a new bumper for sure plus sensors ect the exhaust has taken a hit as well so not sure how bad it is the tips of the exhaust are marked and the hanger has broken on the rear muffler don't know if any more needs doing there
As for pomp treatment not sure yet car is being assessed on Monday arvo so fingers crossed or i will have to have the car treated again at my own cost if it's not covered which will be a real bummer
I can't leave it with the bumper untreated will just look crap
The p plater was defiantly looking at his phone i saw him coming in my rear view mirror and he looked up and then slammed on the brakes i was stuck in traffic and could not even bail out to wrong side of the road as oncoming traffic made that a no go
Does not look to bad but underneath is worse

So, I ordered a set of the clear indicators are they are way brighter than the smoked ones. I didn't compare to factory, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are brighter than factory.
I'm pretty happy with the result. They also have the clear bit so you can see the flash from the interior.
Fit and finish isn't as good as the ones you get from Supernova though.
There must be some kinda bug going on. Apparently my car’s engine is overheated. No smoke, no smell, just a lot of noise (radiator?).
Then the car yells at me to stop driving and now I’m waiting for it to be towed.
Now I’ll just wait for the nice chaps to tow the car away for a few days.. or weeks.

Nice going, man. How different is the fit and finish?
Should’ve done more research and got the clear indicators instead :p

Fit and finish not as good as the smoked Supernoavs. Still I didn't have to wrestle with them too much. A little 'panel' gap at the clear square that pokes though to the inside, but I'm ok with it. They are really bright.
They use a clear lens, but a white defuser, so when off they actually appear white. Looks ok on my Silver GTI, but maybe a bit odd with other colours.
