Do you ever get along to the VWW happy lap days? I have been to the last 3 which have been great and a great opportunity to meet and see fellow dubbers and their cars.

So very true. It shows a) I was tired, b) I've lost my Mk7 trainspotting glasses and c) they didn't differentiate it enough.Originally posted by AdamD View PostI think these two are actually just R-lines, not Rs. The front bar has fogs, and the top of the side intakes aligns with the top of the centre air intake:
...whereas on this R:
...there are no fogs and the side intakes are larger.
I like the black-out technique on that first car though. Adds some nice aggression.
Apology accepted, it is somewhere in the thread, and the wheels are from the tuner who also did the bodywork.Originally posted by charro View PostI apologise if this car has been shown before, I don't recall seeing it. Apart from the great looking wheels (hoping Dutch will chime in on what they are), I love the whole look of the car and of course 400 ponies are nice too

I realize the top car is a R Line Golf, but what is going on with the lower center grill? Looks like he painted around the number plate? I don't know if I like it or I hate it HahaOriginally posted by Dutch77 View PostTuesday fiver.
AdamD, pure coincidence after the last post that these five cars are all White.
We have seen the first car before, but it provides a better comparison look of this owner's choice to give his R a little more visual aggro on the front end by blacking out a section of his front bar.

Thanks mate, I got them locally . I am really happy with my choice, the car still behaving like if it has the cadiz, I don't like when sometimes you change wheels and the car feels totally different.

I'm getting quite fond of the Vossens.Originally posted by sergioscirocco View Postthis would be definitely my second wheels option
19" Vossen Wheels VFS 2 Wheels
If anyone is shopping them there is an Australian distributor now who is selling at fair prices - don't get sucked in by all the fakes on eBay. If the price seems to good to be true, it is.
