            • Finally thought I'd made my mind up today and rang my supplier to order my oz superturisimo lm's to find they would not be available for 5 weeks but the bbs xa's were available and bbs chr in black or anthracite for the same price as the oz's,I've always liked chr's though I find them looking smaller than the size they are(is this just me?)so xa' or ch-r's in black or anthracite for my lapiz R,decisions, decisions lol

There is a blue Golf with anthracite CH-Rs a few pages back; from memory it was a GTI so not Lapiz but fairly close all the same. These would be my vote if you can't wait five weeks but they are certainly the more conservative choice. The XAs would be more unique, but I suspect you'll want to change them in a few months..

Lol yes your right! The black chr's with the silver lip would make sense to match the cars colour but again I think being satin finish the details of the wheel will be lost,so anthracite ch-R(may be silver) weight and et48 appeal to me more but the oz's still I think look better?

Depends on my mood, but I am a fan of both and would run either. At the time of shopping wheels the BBS were significantly dearer here so the OZs got the nod - plus I was keen on 18s, and I don't think the alternative CH works as well as the CH-R on the Mk7.

Given I've waited around 3-4 weeks for both sets of OZ to make it here locally I say suck it up, five weeks is nothing, and get the LMs. You've stated a few times they are your preference and I just reckon if you don't buy them now you'll be ordering them in six months time anyway.

About as close as we'll get for now, just imagine it a few shades lighter, lower and with an R finish:

thanks Dutch, its a very close call between them though the bottom pic does give me the best indication so far,I've been scanning the net for days looking for my car with lm's on or recently chrs.

Nice find, with the Lapiz that works quite well and yeah - the 18s will always be better on the track and the Nurburgrings cover off your mesh needs, so it's definitely a different look.

No problems on the commentary front, payment for services rendered will be new shots of your car when fitted. Wouldn't mind some track shots on the TSWs as well if you can get some.
