Agreed - a number of the Audi wheels do equally as well on the VWs.
They suit the wagon - still not sure on the hatch. A Jetta sedan on the other hand..

I think the 18s are fine, especially given your issues on the 19s. I'm not convinced they look less aggressive - also given the height the R runs at anyway which looks decent from factory. My view is bigger wheels need the more lows to keep the aggression otherwise it ends up a little stilted.
Lol sorry Dutch thought I was ranting a bit thanks Dutch,think I'm going to order them later while they are still on offer,agree about the stilt affect strange but on my hatch I didn't notice it but on the wagon I prefer the way she sits on 18's,it's maybe due to the extra height of the wagon roof line.
