    I'm with you there.

All cool, each to their own - agree with Brads sentiments, if all other aspects line up ultimately go for the wheel YOU like.

Personally never been a huge fan of the Ultraleggera, although on some Mk7s they have looked good (and one sold Tig), which is why I fell in love with the Leggera HLTs when they were released - especially as they had the slightly thicker spoke.

Can you give me a précis?

I'm running a few issues behind in reading and need to wait till my old man finishes the current issue to then forward to me from Adelaide before I have a hope of seeing it!

          • Agreed, that's one of the Ultraleggera cars that comes up well - although my favourite was still the grey GTI from Germany posted a fair while back. But given the choice I'd pick the Leggeras over Ultraleggeras every single time.

But there are Golf buyers who actually like Santiagos and Cadiz, best to resort to my usual: each to their own.

Let's all agree that the Pretoria's are the best oem wheels on the mk7 haha

For OZ Racing, I really like their Superturismo GT(love the style as well as the red letters), however I think they are around $2400 in Aus, which is way above what I can swallow, also I don't think they are very light either(around 24 lbs each I think).

                • Just sold my ultralegeras with contisport and now looking for another one to replace it. Thinking of something with dish set up this time. Been looking at BBS but the price on those are abit sky high maybe a China copy? [emoji12]

No arguments here. Best VW design since the underrated but now fairly timeless Omanyt.

Anything not in the HLT range is fairly heavy in the OZ range, but they do have awesome quality and strength.

IMO the LM looks better than the GT, the 'scalloped' centre just looks much better to me.

Leggera HLT is where it's at.

If you are keen on new though drop me a PM, reasonably sure we can sharpen the $2,400 a little.

You're fishing for a reaction on this thread that openly supports originals?

As usual my thoughts are the Mk7 needs CH-Rs, not the cheaper and curvier CH; sticker pack is what it is.

These seem to be gaining real popularity in the USA on the Mk7.
