Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.       Have you already got your vin number then?

      Mines scheduled for production 28th of this month, hoping I'll have numbers next week.
      Doubt I'll get mine in January.

        My dealer suggested mine was going in for "Body basic assembly" for last friday and will be on the boat by end of the month! I have not received my VIN number yet though.

        On a side note, guess which car won Australia's Best Sports Car under $50k?

            Yeah, it was a pretty decent film too. No question that he likes it, but at the end "it's not enough car" for him.

                              My car's arrival has been pushed back now from 1 March to May. Incredibly frustrating, and apparently due to the combination I've chosen

                              I'd encourage anyone who has an order in to confirm that your car has a build slot that lines up with the arrival date quoted by your dealer
