Yeah, I was thinking the same! If they do offer it then I reckon won't be for current cars. Only new ones sold and prob not for a year.

Time will tell.

Sooooo happy with the Lapiz Blue, very glad i optioned this colour. And i actually really love the rims, they grow on you and even everyone at work has said the same, look A LOT better in real life!

My bro says he still would have waited for the MK8, but meh, i'm very happy with it.

Yeah, it's great. Only thing it is missing is dynaudio. If it was allowed on the standard R, it really would complement it nicely and make it feel totally million bucks!

Mine is with a roof, ordered early August.
I don't believe their "shortage" stories. I think VWA delaying the Wolfsburg on purpose.

It's seems silly that they wouldn't want their top models on the roads first.

I don't think VWA is delaying the wolfies on purpose as it makes zero logical sense nor is it a sunroof delay. I think VWA just have to accept whatever build slots they get from Germany for different colours/variants. As it happened white non sunroofs were the first wolfies to come, etc etc.

I've heard from 2 separate dealers now that VWA actually did complain when they heard of the blue sunroof wolfies coming in like Mar/Apr and managed to shift them forward to Jan slots. Just luck of the draw. Makes sense for the standard R's to have a more constant and early supply as they'll make a whole lot more of them consistiently compared to the once off wolfies.

Btw congrats kenny, enjoy! Looks great.
