You might get exactly what you want in the first batch (it should be easier as the only variable as far as I can tell will be colour) but if not you might be waiting another 6 months

It's irrelevant to those of us who want a manual though!

got my car today, awesome.
have the wiper issue as well (it was raining today, otherwise i wont notice), will go to the dealer later to fix it up.
love the bi-xennon lights
also loving the interior lighting when its dark! so cool.

I have ordered a TDI Highline with some features and is due here in January. If there is a drive away sale happening in the timeframe my car is due to be delivered will I be entitled to that driveway price?? Or will I have to still pay for what is agreed on the contract??

You'll need to pay the contract price. That's what you've agreed to; it would be unfair if the terms could be altered to the benefit of just one party, after signing.

Your only way around this contractually is to either negotiate a better deal with the dealer, or have them write a clause into the contract that allows the price to be reduced if a sale occurs. But I seriously doubt you'd ever find a dealer prepared to do that!

Apparently mine landed on 16/10 but it's still going through compliance in Melbourne. I.e. sitting at the docks getting poo'd on by seagulls. I should have it week after next.

OMG didn't know it takes that long to get through customs! I thought I was gonna have my car before I leave for Phuket at the end of november, looks like its not now. damn
