Hi all, put my order in for a TSI Highline in the first week of June and still waiting..... . just got my VIN number from the dealer as it is supposed to be end of production now. Apparently i can track this and i've tried but no records are found, yet. Does anyone know how long it takes from now till it gets in the cargo and start the long journey down under?

I was given a end of oct/early nov delivery date.

My 110 TDI Highline took 5 weeks to arrive and be delivered to me once it was ex factory and aboard the ship

I'm in the same boat as you (and possibly the car will be too! )... I keep checking the shipping company's website to see if it has been manifested yet & when it will be boarding the ship and thenarriving here in Melbourne - still no details on the site which is frustrating as hell!!!!

Volkswagen told me on Monday it will be ready for delivery in 9-10 weeks, way too long if you ask me... You may find some solace in the following link:

It has the shipping departure & arrival dates, ship name, voyage number etc... I'm predicting (or at least hoping) my car will be on the Tiger, due to depart 16/09 and arrive in Melbourne on 26/10 - if not i'll be mighty

Thanks for the info. I went for reflex silver with driver assist and sunroof. what did you get? I negotiated about 3.5k off the price so I'm pretty happy. Did your vin come in the mail or did you call up for it?

Got mine at Hawthorn, you? When are you expecting to take deliver?. Mine is late October now. Was meant to be early/mid October.

I ordered at Medindie, expecting delivery end of october/early november. it takes forever! can't wait now! you should have a VIN by now to start tracking.

People think I'm a sucker waiting 6 months for a car. I think VW Aust greatly miscalculated the amount of people who wanted the options. It's lucky that I really like the car cos I couldn't see myself being this patient for a Hyundai.
