But mk5 gti / r32 / pre sep09 built mk6 gti and mk6 r all use the same rear pads.

I have had a look at ecs and they dont have any aftermarket pads listed for the audo s3 8v (which has identical brakes, engine, drivetrain, etc to the mk7 r) yet.

Nat 225, if you want brakes i recommend VWR BBK for the front and they have just released there matching product for the rears

But if i want to go with BBK kit again I will likely choose Stoptech 355mm kit with black ST40 calipers.

The replacement parts are so easy to source and priced well inc delivery (pads, rotor rings, bleed screws, new pistons, everything!) from zeckhausen. Easy to diy too (with proper tools).

VwR rotor rings alone cost >$1k i believe and getting replacement parts seems restricted from local dealers only.

I currently use stoptech 328mm kit with stoptech street performance pads (rated at 1200 degrees F, similar to ferodo ds2500). I havent had any fade in any of the 10-20 mnt track sessions i have done.

^ it is good that it has the badge R but personally I don't like the design it is too wagon, I know it'll be great for the people that need that kind of space if you need that and don't mind design then yes ,also I didn't like the fact that it doesn't come with led at the back or at least the pictures that I have seen didn't have led in the tail lamps. When I was first looking into the s3 hatch I notice that it looks sometimes a bit too wagon from certain angles and I didn't like that, the golf on the other hand looks great in its design the S3 I like it in sedan so I wonder how would the golf R look in sedan a golf CC I read long ago in a magazine but never came out.
