I think they are talking about the white coloured one in the background. That one looks like the upcoming Polo R to me rather than the Golf R, judging from the size and headlights.

If you click through the pics you end up with the prototype R (weird front cut out, quad pipes out the back.. same oddball German bloke throughout though).
