  • Newbie with a throttle body issue maybe

Hi Newbie here, we have a 2014 Golf MK VII. It has a EPC light on and is in limp mode. Our scanner shows a P0222 (b) code which our googling suggests will probably be a throttle body issue.

    So questions

    1) from that fault code is a replacement throttle body likely to be the fix?
    2) Where do you buy one from, VW dealer quoted over $700!
    3) once you replace it, do you need to use an expensive scanner/reader to relearn the idle?

We are in Brookfield (Brisbane) QLD.. any help greatly appreciated.

More likely to be a wiring issue. Lots of threads out there about wiring being the most common problem.

I'd probably work through those 1st before considering a replacement TB.
