Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Emmanuele Design V Whiteline Springs

    Hi All,

Just want to know what everyones thoughts are on ED vs Whiteline springs?

I have see a bit of good feedback on here from ED springs, looking for a nice aesthetic drop but will handle as stock. i have got the opportunity to pick up some ED springs really cheap as well as Whiteline having a huge 20% sale on at the moment for the next day and a half.

    Cheers

    Steve

I cant recall anyone on here using Whiteline springs in either Mk6 or Mk7. Its either Eibach, H&R or Emmanuele. So if you have the opportunity to get a good deal on a set of Emmanuelle springs (even if they are 2nd hand) i'd grab those.

Check out 034Motorsport as well. I can’t say I’ve tried anything else but I couldn’t be happier with them. Nice drop, not too harsh, still perfect for a daily.

True - 034 Motorsports make really nice stuff. I have some of their stuff on my SQ5.

OP you have not said what car you have?? These 034 springs are for a GTI
