Hi All
My 2016 Golf 110 TSI Highline has been written off after a crash last Monday. I am fully insured with the NRMA and as my car is under 2 years old, I am entitled to a new replacement. The NRMA advise they will first try to source a new 2016 (unused) 2016 model and if they cant will work up from there until they find a new one that matches. I cant see them finding a new series 7 highline somehow though.
Question is, they state I might have to pay a contribution towards this if there have been any model changes etc. Can they try to make me pay the difference between a new (7.5) highline and what mine was worth or are they bound to replace my car with a brand new 7.5 regardless of cost?
regards
