As OP has said 14117 is the security code for the hex13 module.

If you, or anyone else needs further security codes, I've posted a table on the Ross-Tech forum HERE

Hope the table is of use - but more importantly (and my reason for replying) - if anyone knows security codes that aren't on the table (and that have been confirmed as working), please let me know - so I can add to the table.

I promise to include attribution if advised.

Updated my maps yesterday and did some detailed research on the TSR feature. It appears TSR currently detects only speed signs and
"no-overtaking" signs and no other signs. This seems the case even for cars coded from the factory. So no use much wrecking our brains.

I'm now trying to see how I can get the TSR (camera) and maps to work together. I passed a school zone yesterday and TSR detected the 40kph. I then made a left before the school zone ends but the system still enforced the 40kph limit and when I exceeded the limit I started getting warnings on the virtual cluster.

              Exactly as we said

Best of luck trying to use something that may not be there

I have come across some sites mentioning the following coding as well:

                ENG122229-ENG117754-Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-traffic_sign_recognition_0x21 - Activate
                ENG122229-ENG117755-Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-traffic_sign_recognition_0x21_msg_bus - Activate
                ENG122227-ENG117636-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_road_sign_identification - Activate
                ENG122227-ENG117640-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_road_sign_identification_after_discla imer - NOT
                ENG122227-ENG117637-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_road_sign_identification_clamp_15_off - NOT
                ENG122227-ENG117638-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_road_sign_identification_over_thresho ld_high - NOT
                ENG122227-ENG117639-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_road_sign_identification_standstill - Activate

In my case I've only done the first three, are the remaining ones necessary?

Also, I dont find these values in A5:

Control unit A5 (front / advance camera)
                Adaptation
Display end of speed limit symbol
Importance to activate: Display valid additional signs
                View Channel Valid suffix
Corresponding value: 00100111. (default was 100111)

                Any thoughts?

Would help if you state with control module its in. From look of that it is in the MIB unit which will only alter what it shows and not do anything to activate things

                  No thoughts mine works

                      my 2 cents worth......

Australia uses the RoW navigation maps, along with many other countries.
European countries uses ECE navigation maps.

TSR in fusion mode does not complain when being using with ECE maps - it appears they have the necessary data for fusion mode to work.
however it appears the RoW maps are missing the TSR data altogether, hence fusion mode is not happy.

even if someone had figured out the map structure, i don't know how one would create a set of tsr data, specific to australian roads. i'd imagine this would require some sort of hocus pocus voodoo magic!!

so, my conclusion would b - no point flogging a dead horse.

as for pACC (predictive acc), this is a SWaP enabled feature.
i'm not aware of any VW or Skoda models, in australia, with this feature enabled because of tsr/fusion data being missing from our maps. without this map data, it can't be predictive.
so again, no point getting it SwaP enabled (good luck with that to start with).

Yes a good explantion I knew that stuff was missing in Aus maps but you explain it better than I could \ ANd yes we are chasing something that isnt there and Im pretty sure it wont see "No overtaking" signs either.

Why Well coming into our village we have a standard roadsign with 10 on it It never notices it because it wont be in the maps but there must be some speed signs in them otherwise they wouldnt change at places where there have been previously but not any longer.

Must be different on the Skoda then as that hasnt appeared in my Tiguan but then I dont have it in the centre of the AID and my aid has all the other stuff in totally different places.

Will try it but dont know where to find a no overtaking sign anywhere near my home.

Am confused as you show a Skoda but this is the Golf Forum??????

Is it possible for you to share your coding? Just trying to understand what could be different in the Golf! How does TSR work in your case, in roads where there are no signs, does it take from the maps?

VW, Audi & Skoda use same set of engines/transmissions and control modules, the variants change depending on the model, so its okay to have a Skoda owner share his input.

Except I think the Skoda has a Bosch unit in it and thats the difference as has already been explained
