  • Bi-xenon headlight start-up delay

    Hi guys,

Under normal operations, the headlights should both turn on at the same time when I turn the key (provided I have the Auto headlights on). It's been working flawlessly for 3 years.

I've noticed over the past week that the left headlight would turn on a few seconds after the right one. To make things worse, the left one turned on normally last night, but it was the right one which had the delayed reaction.

Has anyone had the same issue?

    Cheers!

i had this issue with my car, turned out to be the battery dying, ie when you start the car the dying battery cant give up enough voltage hence the delay.
i got a new battery and its gone back to working flawlessly

Yep. Sounds like a battery issue

Funnily enough I come back to this thread. I've been suspecting my car lately has not been starting as smoothly as before and it was due to low battery. All signs are pointing to the same thing. Thanks guys!
