Ive finally gone for a drive and wow what an amazing difference
The acceleration is a lot more brutal from 3000rpm onwards all the way till redline
Its slightly jerkier down low but a lot more responsive at the same time
One thing I noticed compared to last time it was raced was the reaction of the DSG was longer,I can see why people do the DSG flash now.
Overall to drive around town its no different but when you put your foot down it has a lot more get up and go!!

              @whiteVR6:

              Awesome results mate!

What size is your Milltek Race DP? If it's larger than stock, how did you manage to install it w/o a tune?

What brand is Golf Racing intake? Any links for this product?

3 inch downpipe, it worked although the engine light did come on sometimes.

Ian from Rennenhaus sells them, they come from the UK.

Wheels are RS4 replicas painted black, borrowed from Sebs S3:

Well done, Guys (And Gals, sorry, Courtney. ).

I'll keep my eye on this- Only just saw it.

Nice to catch up on the weekend at the drags. Sorry it was so brief.. Crewing on a Fuel car doesn't leave you with much spare time.

After Seb spent all day doing a carbon clean, wastegate adjustement and a minor service the car felt so much more responsive and launch control finally hooked up a lot better.
I ran a 12.1 straight off followed by a 12.06. Rest of the day I ran a series of 12.2s
Even my worst time was still a 12.3@112mph!
I did have the exhaust and seats removed but didnt run any race fuel.
Next step is a bit more lightening and a race tune

Id like to thank Seb from EuroAutomotive who knows how to make it happen. If the car is ever going to achieve its final goal of mid 11s on a stock turbo he is the man to do it. Anyone who wants a carbon clean I can tell you from my own experience it does work and it makes a huge difference!
Parso for his great tune, cant wait till its all finished off and finally dynoed, Im sure it will be the most powerful stock turboed R you will have go on your dyno!
Ian@Rennenhaus for the VW racing intake.

Just on a side note, the VW racing R32 ran a best of 13.4@104mph today

So the planned drag day didnt happen . Im still keen to get this nugget out to run an 11 .
I'll get Marc to go over the tune again and hopefully get the magical 240kw atws out of it which fingers crossed should be good enough to run that 11 . Im expecting July sometime , if anyone is interested in coming let me know ...
