Yes that is the correct tube/pipe. But if you follow it you will see it goes to behind the passenger rear wheel. So I chose to block it off there where it is less visible/obvious to the VW dealership or Police.

I think mine is open all the time.
I get the bi-modal rumble all the time in S mode.

Well i drove it for the first time tonight since dis-abling the flapper, and yes it is noticeably louder. Not a great deal but definetly a bit louder. I like it though.

Mines all sorted, fockers had the vacume hoses around the wrong way... Might give the "flapper mod" a crack over Easter rofl 'flapper mod'
