Thanks buddy. A shame my order will never be born, but I have little doubt I will be purchasing a VW down the track. I love them, although I will tick the DSG box next time, so I have nothing to worry about.

You are spot on. The reviews were the last straw. I had to drive one to see what the fuss was about, the wait was definitely a large part of the decision as well, I had no build week, and had heard only once from my dealer to tell me of the extended ETA. This baby was just sitting out in the yard with stickers and plastic and chalk pen all over her.

Owning a Clio 182Cup as well helped me as there definitely is some brand loyalty, and the knowledge of just how well a RSport product steers, although I still adore VW's...

Just joking , the car is cool, and you don't have to ditch VWW just because your current car isn't one. Look at Trent, he still believes his Renauiateugofrog is a VW and will probably get a VW again when he finds out it's actually French. You'll be welcomed back into the VW fold no issue.

Ahahaha yeah, its definitely the wog blood in me! Still had the customs stickers and the transport stickers all over it as well. Apparently she came over on the "Hough Seoul", not sure if anyone here had a vehicle on the same vessel?
