  • It's why I bought a MKV GTI instead of an R32.... for the mods I did to the MKV GTI, I could've bought the R32 with the same options etc. But that heavy nose spoilt the ride as car as I was concerned.

The biggest chuckle came from when someone mentioned "the R badge's heritage"

Would that be the heritage of: being slightly pudgy, understeer-y and somehow less than the sum of it's parts suggests it should be, but damn it sounds good?

Cos if so, they have dropped the one thing that was a positive!
But you like Alfa's. So your opinion is null and void

....Correct! 10 Alfa's since I was 14 (27 this year) means it was either gunna be laugh, or cry...

You moved on from the 75/90 (can't remember which one you had, was a few years back now)?

Yeah, had a 75 3litre (1100kg/115rwkw/LSD/Azenis Semi-Slicks) which got hit and run a few times, then found rust in the floor and cracked the ****s. Ended up selling it. Bought a cheap 33 last year, but just wasnt feeling it, and moved it on pretty quickly. Am currently on the lookout for a nice GTV6 or 75 3L that I don't have to do too much work to.... Just Drive/Enjoy/Maintain, not bloody rebuild.

GT 3.2 is nice. Id have a 147/156GTA with Q2 over one, but still. Nice. R would be faster, more comfortable.

But, the 3.2 Arese has the same, well in my opinion better, virtues of the R32... Just that soul stirring sound, but you have to ignore the handling/ride/balance.
