Fab_R, that looks like Albert Park, my wife and I stayed at the Meridian overlooking Albert Park in September this year. I wondered what the pits were used for during non-F1 season, upstairs, mostly indoor soccer from what I could see.

Yeah the place looks pretty weird when there is no GP on..
Yeah the corporate facilities are used for indoor sports during the year, i think you are right re indoor soccer etc...
i lowered(30mm) my MK6 2.0TDI on Eibach pro kit last week, with the same issue front left approx 5mm higher than front right. rear springs are fine. i did not measure the stock height before. the shop installer says difference within 10mm is fine. any one else has the same issue?
You guys think it's too high? I'm running OEM GTI springs and shocks...been looking at VW Racing springs from the UK.
On a side note, tonight I measured the height between the top of the tyres and the wheel arches and found that the front right sits lower than the front left by about 5mm, and the rear left sits lower than the rear right also by about 5mm. Is this normal?
Went for a spin with my mate on Sunday afternoon. Drove up through Mt Sugarloaf (near Newcastle) where there are some nice medium and high speed twisties, then up the mountain to the lookout for a break. Great afternoon for a drive and the first time my R had been driven in nearly 3 weeks.
Yes it was good fun - best part is that its only 15 minutes or so from home. In the next few weeks ill go down the Old Pacific highway - starting from the Central Coast. Ive been down that way a few times with my brother before, once in an Audi S3, another time in an Audi R8 V10 and also in an Audi A1. Great roads.
