OMG OMG that is my car in 2 months... I love the cloth seats

Well glad I could show you what your car is going to look like
My old car had leather seats and I'm glad I went with the cloth trim in this car as it's so much better (and cheaper)

The Grey insert you can see in the seats feels like suede as well...

Yeah I cant come at the cost.. but that aside the silver slashes in the seats lighten the cabin and blend with the doors.. it just looks right, but also I do like the cloth, I have similar ones in the Suabru and always liked the look and feel.

And YES, the cloth are great.
In our hot climate the leather is a bitch to live with.
I had leather in my V8 Calais and i hated it, and it was the cream one!
On a hot summers day, you could burn your skin by sitting on it.
AND its tender down there!!!!!

I think the white cloth part is Alcantara. very nice!

Couldn't agree with you more Big Dave! I was tempted to order the leather, but being in Brisbane as well I know how bad leather can suck monkey scrotum in Summer. I think leather may help resale a bit more than the standard seats, but not worth the $3K investment IMHO.

Anyway, I like the colour contrast with the standard seats anyway.

Alcantara is a trademarked product. VW claim it's "microfibre". Having said that, the difference between some microfibres and Alcantara is pretty slim - so who knows whether there is a difference or whether calling it microfibre is just to reduce the costs

Yes they are the 520mm x 112mm which fits perfectly onto the front plate guard thing so really glad I got them as the normal QLD plate just looks horrible (seen pictures) and I think detracts from the overall look of the Golf R, so for the $595 I think they are definately worth it...

That's why you should get the Recaros Leather + Microfibre + that very special feeling every time you get into them!

I really keep changing my mind on Rising Blue or White (with the black 19" rims). I have to decide soon as I'm about to get 'No more changes' My head says Rising Blue but the white looks so good with the black........

A rising blue R can sometimes be mistaken for an R32 (Blue pearl is similar). A white R can sometimes be mistaken for a TSI or GTI. both look damn sexy though.
