Handling is very much transformed.. I pushed it frigging hard this morning thru some backroads on the way to work and it scared me it was that good!

Understeer is effectively dialed out.
Ride wise same as sport setting with ACC.

Nah ACC is now replaced with the KW coilovers.

He wont' have ACC anymore, as he has swapped the struts out.

Perfect height Fab, any issues with clearance (in particular the front bar)
How do the KW3's manage rough roads? is it bone shattering or tolerable?
(not familiar with sport mode, I don't have ACC)

Hey Dave,

Yes they are the 520mm x 112mm which fits perfectly onto the front plate guard thing so really glad I got them as the normal QLD plate just looks horrible (seen pictures) and I think detracts from the overall look of the Golf R, so for the $595 I think they are definately worth it...

Actually it was looking at your pictures you posted in this thread on page 27 I think they are on that made me get the Euro Plates..

I just got off the phone with Troy. Was looking at getting some 19 x 8.5 BBS CH-Rs and maybe a Carbonio CAI.

Tire rack doesn't ship BBS, OZ & Breytons to Aus =(. The import duties and brokerage fees will set you back at least $800? Perhaps buying rims locally makes more sense. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Import duties and stuff will vary, but yeah, Tire Rack are not allowed to ship BBS to Australia - which bites. You could always use something like priceusa.com.au though

Mr_Bob.....no issues at all with clearance.

Ride is very tolerable mate, not shattering or crashing over bumps and rough roads....
