Cars ordered this month will arrive July/August. You can no longer amend a car in the ordering system. Once its ordered that is it. Some of you guys are going to have to either comprimise on your needs/wants and pick something on the way or else wait the 5 - 7 months for a car. Anybody quoting earlier than that for a custom build is filling you with tihs backwards......

As much as a few people have successfully received cars in ~3 months due that loophole, it's not fair to others who order their cars several months earlier from dealers who haven't been clogging up the systems with these "place holder orders". So I believe this was the right thing for VW (or VGA) to do.

Hi dreamension, thats a pretty good price when you consider how some dealers are going shy on Golf R deals lately. Mine was RRP of almost $70,500, and I got it for a bottle of Johnny Blue under $60k. It was a bonus for me too, I would have paid up to $64k I reckon.

Mate, top luck with the upcoming wait. I'm fine right now, but once I get a build date (I ordered 2 months ago) and I know the show's on the road I think I will start chwing my fingers off.

The onroad RRP for that would be ~$76,751.40

So since it's listed for $75,900, you're getting the opportunity to avoid the 6 month+ waits, and you then get
$7500 of APR gear, $1000 to $3000 of PPF (depending whether "Full" means the standard kit or entire car) plus whatever the springs, wheels, tyres cost (quite possibly another $4000 if the BBS rims are real).

I've no idea who Kristof is though.
I also don't recognise that combination of stuff from any forum member here (unless they're not a particularly chatty member).

I do wonder what kind of circumstances would lead to this kind of sale. Like 3 months after ownership and just meh, not my cup of tea? Maybe loss of job and can't make car loan payments?

Any ideas on why he's selling will just be speculation. Hopefully he hasnt hit a wall, and someone gets a good deal.

$75900.. Im no expert in used car prices, but Id consider a bit less than that If I was in the market for a used car.

But, you do get to avoid the massive wait times for a ready track/road weapon, and maybe save a few bucks on the way!
