Parts: USD$548.99 (camera fully installed, I also got LED number plate lights while I was at it for $45)
Shipping to Aus is around USD$80. (I went for the quicker shipping for $110, got it in 3-4 days)

So USD$630 to your door. (they had no trim tools when I ordered so add $15 if you need them)
With todays exchange rate your looking well under $600 delivered. (around $580 I would guess)

Will defiantly go with this but just waiting on a previous order to arrive from ECSTuning before I place another order. i am thinking the quicker delivery might be the go as i have now been waiting 10 days.

VCDS changes were dead easy.
Dave (bigdave260) did the coding, but it was pretty much go in and enable the camera in some section, and then under the radio section, byte 3, bit 6 there was a tick box.
It was simply just two tick boxes and it was done.

I fitted the LED number plate lights tonight.
I was hoping they would illuminate the back more so they helped with the RVC

The photo doesn't exactly show how it is cause it overexposed it. (I can still see the yellow line for example)
The LED's help, but not as much as I thought they would, they are pretty damn good stock.
Are they worth <$50 ... yep, but I wouldn't pay $180 or whatever it is for OEM ones.
If you really wanted more light for the RVC, then LED tail lights with reverse lights on both sides would be the best thing.

I used that guide for a few tips, but as I said they are all a little incomplete at the moment.

You can make this install as simple or as hard as you want.

simple = run coax, tap power/ground/reverse in the boot.
hard = run coax, build full loom to match OEM (no cutting of original wires), run power to the fuse box and install new circuit with it's own fuse.

The difference between simple and hard is maybe $50 in parts and a bit of soldering.
