The GTI has no problems and the wife's WS Fiesta is ok. The Fiesta runs lower than the GTI !

Will be selling the house if it don't work out cos the R ain't being parked on the street overnight

Went with Gold Coast Car Sound c/o spitz in this forum and got an Alpine 900E with the original Alpine reverse camera fitted to my 77TSI today. Looks great, though the Alpine GPS seems a bit dated in terms of UI and in terms of map updates. Will try to update that in a while.

Yeah I was pleased and people ask where I got it custom made.. pfft you know where the imperfections are so you get surprised.. but it is great for the coin

In the GTI I just used a $5 tarp from Bunnings that covers the floor AND sides

Has protected the cargo area from suitcases, spills etc over the last 3 years

I don't see much point in these rubber mats

Get a bucket which has a lid
The carpet in the Golf boot doesn't mind getting a bit wet, as long as the soapy water etc doesn't come out

I carry my dog in the back after going to the park/beach. Boot liner catches the mud and sand and keeps the wet dog smell out of the carpet.

Ah yes, you apartment dwellers! I keep all the car care products in the garage in one of them big lidded storage bins on wheels. Just grab something like that?
