What Accessories are you buying for your MK6 Golf?
If it is Carbon fibre, I'd be cautious. I've had that before, and after you've scraped it a few times on driveways or whatever, and you've worn through the clear coat protecting the fibres, you've then got unprotected carbon fibres. You'd then want to be wearing kevlar gloves any time you go to wash your car or put your hands anywhere near them, because getting carbon fibres in them is very painful! Trust me! lol
They look good - they're just not practical for a car driven every day.

Group buy on the splitters and i'm in..
I had one on the wrx and never seemed to have any issues with it, it got scraped on the underside a few times but was never had any trouble with the fibres sticking out, I guess as you say though if you go through the clear coat it may become a problem.

Not 100% on the splitter but a lot of the Razon kits is kevlar reinforced carbon fibre which apparently poses its own problems with delamination quite common between the two products.
Still the bonet and splitters they sell for the Mk6 variants are damn sexy
Hi. I'm in the process of ordering a net gti. Any ideas on park assist? Is it worth the money? Does any one have it and what do you think about it? Thanks

Hey nat225. Welcome to the forums. Some pictures of some of these things installed on your car would be great! Many of those things are unique to your car (as far as these forums are concerned).
After stumbling across some information on Maverick's website, I ordered a Clarivue RNS510 screen protector. I ordered it at like 3am one morning whilst not sleeping due to waiting for my car to arrive, so I got the "Ultra-Clear" version rather than the "Anti-glare" version. During normal waking hours, I might have twigged that "Ultra-Clear" means supershiney and therefore reflective, but oh well.
It arrived well packaged and with simple 3 step instructions. It also included a little cleaning wipe to ensure the RNS510's screen is 100% clean before placing the protector on it. This thing is sized SO EXACTLY that it's almost impossible to get the damn thing on! A very steady hand and even a long finger nail to wedge underneath the screen trim and run along the edges to get the protector down is a big help.
Once on and the top layer protection removed, it looks very impressive. Makes the RNS510's screen look very much like an Apple iPad display or something. It is very clear and also rather shiney. The finger prints don't seem too bad from the drivers point of view, but look very obvious from straight on or from the passenger view - but it is easier to clean than the standard screen.
In hindsight, or if I was to install another one, I'd probably trim 1 or 2mm off two edges (one of the long and short edges) so that it's easier to install (and remove). I'd also probably get the anti-glare version, just because I have never been a fan of the shiney screens.
I've just received mine today Bought the ultra clear ones. Yes they are ridiculously hard to fit it onto the screen! I ended up trimming some of the edges off while one side was already adhered to the screen.
Yes it does somehow increase the clarity of the screen! Very nice looking indeed!
EDIT: RCD510 screen working fine now. Wasn't when I JUST applied the protector on. Weird?
