What Accessories are you buying for your MK6 Golf?
I did seriously consider painting it myself but ended up getting it professionally done.
I'm not sure I'll be precise enough to DIY so will buy now. Does the chrome one just pry off and replace with black?? Will be kinda easy to have it de-badged or did u superglue it or something? ta..

It is a bit of a pain to fit but luckily someone on another forum has recently done the emblem swap so he was able to give a heads up of what to expect.
You have to first remove the front grill to access the rear of the OEM emblem.
Once the grill is off you will notice that VW actually melt 2 of the 3 clips of the back of the emblem to hold it in. I had to use a soldering iron to carefully re melt the plastic to get it out. This part can be a bit time consuming as you don't want to damage the grill itself. Once you have released the 2 clips you just turn the badge anti clockwise to remove the final clip.
Install the new emblem and make sure it's sitting flush then turn clockwise to lock into place. I then used some silicon on 2 of the rear clips to hold the emblem securely in place.
